JDM window visor install
Hey thanks for the response. It make sense to tuck the clips underneath the rubber, but when I close the door, they will bend. That's normal right?
It shouldn't bend. Which part are you connecting it to? It is the rubber piece on the OUTSIDE of the door right between the window and the frame of the door (or the chrome piece i believe)
The chrome piece trim is on the body of the car. This is how i did it. I open the door. Pull the the rubber trim towards the car. Then i slide the visor's clip, which is pointed downwards, onto the door trim. Then push the rubber trim down to secure. Then when i close the door, the clips gets bent and my visors moves up a little. I hope im making sense. Keep in mind i havent removed the tape yet. Is that the reason my visors are popping up when i close the door?
Oops I thought about it, and the chrome trim is on the car itself. Hmm I would try to take a picture of the trim where the clip is suppose to be but my visors are already on.
It probably pops cause the tape isn't on but it doesnt explain the bending of the clips and it shouldn't move up.

just stick the damn thing on already. hahahaha! as for bending, i dont get any bends when the doors close, so im thinking u get the bends cuz it isnt sticked on yet. just make sure u align them cuz once u stick it on, dats it..
Ya, i think that's probably why because I haven't removed the tape yet. If it's just a matter of side the clips down and tape then it does sounds easy. The confusing part was I thought i was suppose to hang the clip onto the door trim. But in this case, the clips are opposite, you cant hang them but instead you slide it under the door trim and then tape. Thanks guys.
I notice, the double sided tape, sits higher than the rubber trim. Is it suppose to be like that? Since the clip doesn't allow the tape to be lower than the rubber trim.
Also, I can't get the front visors to stay below the chrome trim near the slim end why is that?
This sucks lol.

You see the end of the visors where it bulges out? Its suppose to sit flushed with your mirror piece. Here i'll take some pictures since i dont want to study for my finals.
2nd picture, you are trying to mount it onto the door's rubber trim that goes around the whole door, you don't want that piece.
You're mounting it too high. It is not suppose to block the chrome strip.

You're currently mounting it on this plastic trim, which is incorrect.

You want to mount it on this trim instead

Just follow it up.

I really appreciate your effort for posting this. I thought i was suppose tape the visors on the rubber trim instead of the window trim. So basically, if i do it your way, where am i hooking up the clip? The reason why mines is buldging is because the clips are higher than the other which got me frustrated. Sorry for being a noob
