warning

So my car was driving like crap tonight on the highway....as if I had a flat. Pulled over looked at everything ..nothing. Had a guy at the gas station listen to see if he could pin point where the noise was coming from, this is what we found.... 3 of the studs from the spacers broke and were rattling around in the center cap cover. If you have spacer be careful!!

I do tires and I luv the look that spacers give but I always worry about that.

The Spacers are H&R, I have 19x8 +38 all around, so I just pushed the rears out to the fenders some.

I worry about that to... GS specs i think are 76ft pounds and i swear that all shops have there impact guns set at 100ft pounds or more... Glad your ok and the wheel didn't fly off..

There's always been doubts about the safety of spacers mostly from the no name brands. I too have H&R and have no issues with them thus far. Glad you are okay though.

Thanks guys... Justin, I don't have to tell you what was going through my mind, you hit the nail right on the head!! lol. I am glad I actually listen to Ed, he told me to take it easy until I get the gauges in before I really run it. I just want to feel when the 2nd turbo kicks in, but I have been patient...Whew!!
