Arrow PLEASE HELP!! anyone experience this?

I just bought a 98 lexus gs400, everything was fine until last night my instrument cluster and icons are real dim but they are flashing WITHOUT the key in the ignition! What is it? What will it cost to fix? I really dont wanna get rid if this car, i just fot it 2 days ago..

Possible alternator issue or maybe a short.. U can take the car to a Autozone and they can run a test to see if your throwing codes and check your battery and alternator.. Its free and shouldn't cost a thing..

Did you powerwash your engine bay when you got your new car home? If so there could be water in the underhood connections -- let it dry out.

The car is not on?

I would check for aftermarket alarm system and or bad wiring from the previous owner.

Stock alarm he told me, although he has a long fuse box he installed by the battery, for an aftermarket amp that runs ALL of my speakers in my car, also i noticed on the k&n air intake he has wires with plugs that plug into my air intake(under the hood) make any sense? None to me

It was the battery and the amp was wired wrong! Thanks guys
