Default Took a plunge..

And got myself a 98 GS300 with 77K miles on it. Clean as a whistle. An old man was driving it.

And of course I want to HID it. 8000 Kelvin is perfect, not too blue not too white, just "iceberg" blue bliss. Wondering if THIS kit will fit on the lights (HIGH+LOW), and THIS kit on the fog lights?
Also, should I be worried about 100W vs. 55W vs. 35W kits? Maybe go with the "new" LED trend instead?
I'm going to take my time with the rims. Keep the stock wheels for snow tires and summer ones sometime early next year.
It doesn't have the NAV. May go with an aftermarket BOO-YA system + backup camera, so many choices..

Picking it up at 4 PM today. Wish me luck.

Oh, and last thing - I put full coverage on it (was $400 diff from liability only). At what point should I drop comprehensive? At like 150K+ miles?

Cheers everyone.

I have a 98 too with low miles, You are gonna love that car altough suspension maintenance might become a pain. As far as the HID's i would go with 35w thats what i have in my lows and thats what everyone recommened i get. I think the 55w is too much and unecessary.

Welcome to the club Tho

I have 35w on my lowbeams, my wifes RX has 55w, side by side, I can't even see my lights thanks to hers being so bright and white. Either way, it'll look nice.

The kit you need is a 9006 conversion HID kit....usually 35 watts. Check out the lighting section for more info.
