This happens all the time on all forums. I knew a few people on Bimmerforums who had their car's images stolen for eBay ads. Most of the sellers are in Asia and don't seem to care about who owns the images they use. Nothing unusual. Just ask them to take it down, although they don't always do so.
Im 50/50 on it kinda agree ^^^^^ with pham but in some since it would be false advertising as well. Also know that once you put a pic on a forum it can be accessed by google and If your pic is displayed by google it is free to use as needed for any reason to some extent and in this case they really dont have to take it down unless you filed some kind of report against them. I had this happen when I sold my 94rx7 which in turn I found for sale using my pictures on autotrader by two different people but I was able to have these removed just for the fact they where fraudulently selling something they really didnt have and I proved it. GL you gotta admitt at first you thought it pretty pimp someone thought your car bad-a** enough to advertise with I'd call it a sponser ship and ask them to pay up LOL
it happens alot...i found a pic of my car with tte grill on ebay. the seller was pushing tte replica grills. I emailed the seller to remove my pic...and he did.
