So i put an intake on the car, unhooked the battery for 15 min as most people on here suggest, hooked the battery back up, start the car and now i have a terrible idle, like the car is about to die, and a whole lot of hesitation when starting from a stop. Any ideas, thanks in advance..
did you disconnect the batt while putting the intake in or after? either way disconnect it again, and check all your clamps and hoses, it sound like you may have a Vac. leak.

thanks, i will try that when i get home, and i unhooked the battery after the install. there is one thing i notice while installing the intake, there is a "hose' lead from the engine(pass. side, near the front of engine) that was hooked up to the stock intake. the aftermarket intake doesnt have an adapter or hookup for this lead. could that make the MAF or anything misread? Sorry, pretty new to the "performance" side of the GS thanks for all your help

to be honest, i have no idea, just a simple "ebay" style intake w/ the MAF spot and a cone style filter. i was looking for a SRT w/ ecu but wanted to try this one first.

Yes. ebay intakes only have two vac nipples, so you need to Y one of them to feed ALL OEM VAC lines.
