Left the country early december for two weeks. The day I left my car was functioning just fine. I didnt drive my car for another few days after I returned when the check-engine light turned on. The people at autozone gave me the read out of P1354. Any idea where I should start? Thanks in advance.

 

Still nothing? Any Lexus techs on CL anymore? I know its been a while since I've been here but wow have things changed.

I forgot to mention that my car trembles while idling really low. Almost feels as if it's going to stall. Then after a while (time varies) it will start running fine only to go back to the trembling later. When I pop the hood it sounds as if a pully bearing might be out or something. Hard to describe. Hopefully someone out has come across this problem to help out.

And yes I searched the code. Its a vvt-i misfire code (Bank 2).

 

It could be your TPS going bad, not 100% certain, but the stalling and running fine again sound like the sensor is going bananas.

 

Bumping this thread bc I have the same code. Have already replaced the spark plug with factory Densos and the OCV opposite of the battery and recent oil change.

Any ideas or suggestions? It's a GS400 with 175k.
