Default code 41 and now a code 12?

My 1993 sc400 died on me while driving and now gives trouble starting sometimes. I checked the codes and code 41 came up as the tps"throttle position sensor". While driving it to my parts dealer to get the part the car started bogging out and the revs were acting a bit wierd, eventually stalled again. Now when I check the codes a code 41 shows up followed by a code 12 "rpm signal" My question is can the two be related? Can the stalling and the lack of fuel caused from the faulty tps cause the computer to give out a code 12? The code twelve happened right after my car stalled out during a "tps fit" Hope to get a response . Thanks guys

RPM signal is whats causing it not to run....it's either gonna be a crank position sensor, or perhaps a cam position sensor (might be in distributor, i'm not sure on the 4.0's)

TPS going out usually you can still drive on, or unplug and drive to get where your going.

Sorry I should of explained my situation a little better. The car still runs, it just doesnt start up every single time, this is due to the faulty tps code 41. Every once and a while it stalls on me or starts bogging out due to the faulty tps.

I am just wondering if the unusual reving and stalling due to the faulty tps could cause the computer to read a code 12 "rpm signal". I am hoping once I fix the tps the the code 12 will go away also, what do you guys think? Thanks for the help

Also should be getting the car towed to my mechanics with the faulty tps? Or is it okay to drive short distances?

Code 12 doesn't exactly mean "rpm signal"
I found this on the net, code 12: No "ne" or "g" signal to ECU within 2 seconds after engine has been cranked.
basically it means there is either a problem in the ignition system (faulty ne or g sensors, or faulty ignitor, or fualty ecu, or faulty wiring between any of these, or somehow your tps issue (if thats really the issue) confused the ecu into throwing the code (just a guess but maybe it stalled immediately after start and ecu didnt get the signal, only scenario I can think of).
I would suggest resetting the ecu/codes and see if code 12 comes back up again, and just replace the Tps before wasting too much time thinking about it.
