I need some help guys. Okay well my car's a/c had problems before and was diagnosed with a bad preasure valve/evaporator core so I had that replaced. Anyway then I refilled the cay wit refrigirent after the swap and ended up having more problems with it, during the summer time ofcourse with the car in parking mode if I pressed the gas and got the rpm's passed 3 k refrigirant would come out from under the hood, and then if I were to drive the car with the a/c on it would work as long as It was full but the car would make this whining noise almost like I'm running a supercharger, but I'm definatly not.

Well today I decided to run the diagnostic mode and it showed me 3 error codes, 21,23,24. I know 21 is common light sensor and code 23 from what I've read here means I got no refrigirant in my a/c but what the heck is code 24?????. I was going to have the a/c checked out again but never got around to it with college and work so If anyone knows what code 24 means I would greatly apreciate it. Stan.

 

Stan error code 24 is for your solar sensor, run the diagnosis with your car outside in full sunlight and the code will probably go away, sounds like you have a leak in the system so when the refrigerant gets low the compressor will no longer engage, you should have the dealer or a competent mechanic take pressure readings to figure out where your problems are instead of speculating, good luck.
