Lug Nut Question

I just ordered some new G-Spider rims from Sewell Lexus to put on my 2000 GS400. I didn't think about lug nuts when I ordered them. Is there a special type of lug nut that I need for this wheel to work best on my Lexus? It looks like I need a 12mm x 1.50 size, but other than that, I'm in the dark. Will my tire shop have some chrome lug nuts that can be purchased or should I be ordering something better or special?

if they are a factory lexus wheel no need for new lugs. if they are an aftermarket a 12 x 1.5 spline drive with a shank. trust me if you want no vibes with aftemarket wheels you want these lug nuts. some thing about toyota and lexus with shaking ive found that these lugs seem to help the most with this issue. pm me if you want more info.

yep. since u are getting oem wheels, they use oem lugnuts

stock oem toyota/lexus wheels use 12x1.5 shank style lug nuts

most aftermarket wheels use a tappered lug nut.
if the aftermarket wheels have small holes, then u need to look at going spline drive tappered lug nuts as they use a key that tends to be small and thus can fit in the lug nut holes.

some other stock wheels, or steelies use a ball seated lug nut.

Thanks for all the replies.

So, if I understand correctly, since my new wheels will be Lexus G-Spider OEM option wheels, then the lug nuts I need are these:

"stock oem toyota/lexus wheels use 12x1.5 shank style lug nuts"

Are these available at any Toyota / Lexus dealer or can I buy them at any auto parts store? I currently have aftermarket wheels on my car with no-telling what kind of lug nuts.
