Default Weird problem/sound

This has been going on for a little while and it's starting to baffle me. I'll park my car and it'll sit there for a few hours at night and than I'll hear a pop noise from the car (it's parked right outside my window) and my 2 way pager alarm will go off warning me that something hit my car but when I look nothing. I go down there nothing. It just happened again right now and my lights came on and stayed on I had to go down unlock the car, and open the door for the lights to turn off. I got home from work today at about 7 and it's been parked for about 2 hrs. Any Ideas?

The only thing that comes to mind that could cause that to happen would be suspension settling. It happens often in the shop when a car is lifted up the suspension expands because there is no load on it, then when the car is put back on the ground the struts settle and the springs rest back on their perches. Sometimes they they pop. Nothing on that vehicle is capable of making a pop that loud on its own. So I suspect this is your issue, I would probably just go outside about 2 hours after you park it and listen for the noise, try and narrow down the location. Post up when you find the location.

Thats what I was thinking too but I haven't lifted the car up or anything. The only other thing is speed bumps but I go over those super slow and kinda at a angle so I don't know.

Gotta ask the crucial question; is the car lowered? I assume it is due to your last answer. Try to diagnose which end of the car the pop noise comes from, then post up.
