check ebay member zeroism , I purchased mine from him a couple years ago . it was about 600 shipped from japan. Im pretty sure he still has some. One of my favorite additions to the GS. I just grabbed the ash tray to go with it

the 98-00 GS has a single stage air bag. it uses the same steering wheel as the 01-03 RX300, which did come with a wood grain steering wheel. you can purchase the RX300 wood wheel and put in your air bag and it will look OEM. they are selling them on ebay for about $400 + shipping

the 01+ GS used a two stage air bag. I know that some later model GS came with wood grain wheel but its pretty rare from what ive seen, they also sell those on ebay but those are pricier. i believe the one that zeroism sells is for the 01+ model gs since it has the tiptronic on the wheel.

If you gonna spend a couple thousand on wheels , and a few thousand on other mods , why not spend a few bucks for a classy steering wheel and thats a great price , thats about half the price the stealership wants . Plus the chics like my wood

what happens if you use dual stage airbag instead of single stage in the car?

Your chest/head will hurt very bad in a crash from hitting the steering wheel. I looked into this very hard when I had my 98 GS3. You would have to go with the RX wheel and all that razamatazz, cuz zeroism's wheel is for 01+, if you look carefully, the angles where the center airbag meets the actual wheel is steeper on the 98-00 and less so on the 01+. ANother option might be american stitches. Send away your wheel and they make it a woody.http://www.american-stitches.com/ I had them do a wheel and it was top quality.
