I noticed in a couple posts about how fast you have gone in your GS that some people appear to have limited how fast they took their car because they had 20" rims. Why? What problems do the 20" rim cause?
As others have said typically a bigger wheel is heavier which means more unsprung weight. When people buy lighter wheels for their cars they do get some "performance gains" out of them due to less unsprung weight. Imagine putting a 6lb bowling ball on a rope and swinging it around your head vs. a 10lb bowling ball.
I hope you guys know there are some 20s that are lighter than 19, 18 and possibly even smaller diameter wheels, so please stop missleading readers with your unproven theories.
