you need to stop using your car and get your car to a mechanic.

you obviously have a coolant leak somewhere if your expansion tank is empty. This probably caused an airlock in your cooling system causing your car to overheat. The more you use the car, the more damage you will do. Check your oil. If you have coolant in your oil, your headgasket is blown.

FWIW, you do have a water temp gauge in your car. They didn't put it there for fun.

get your car towed to a mechanic, a good one, right away. Immediately after, i'd advise you to head to a dealership and purchase a honda.

I just got the car home at around 10:30pm. I'm Pulling the whole front end off right now.
then i will be pulling off the oil pan. Hopefully the headgasket isnt blown. if it is I got alot of work on my hands it should take me about 2 weeks.

If the car does go when in gear... It's a tranny problem. IMO.

I'd have it looked at professionally before you go too far on your own not knowing what the problem for sure.

GS4_Fiend is right. If the car doesn't move when in gear...very likely you may have a tranny problem.

Did it actually overheat? let it sit and run at idle in the shade, ie garage, to see if the cooling fans come on or if it gets hot...watch the temp gauge like a hawk to see if it overheats. No A/C during this test either you want the cooling fans to come on based on ECT temp only, (engine coolant temp).

Hope this helps...
