Engine Covers
I actually bought the engine cover from my local dealer. The parts guy said it should fit no problem. So I went ahead and special ordered it, along with all necessary mounting hardware. When I got it home, I tried to put it on and found out that:
1) the engine cover has 4 mounting points
2) the cover over the spark plugs has the necessary holes for two of the mounting bolts, cool
3) the intake manifold does NOT have the necessary holes for the other two mounting bolts, not so good

The only option would then be to replace my intake manifold with one from a 2000+ GS300. At this point I didn't bother to ask how much because I had a feeling that it was going to be expensive (the cover itself was like $150, if I remember right).
Luckily for me two things came out of it:
1) I was able to get a refund because the parts guy admitted that he was wrong, and that it would be too costly to mod my car to get it to mount
2) my front RMM strut-tower brace would not have fit if the cover did fit due to the tight clearance
