you need to know the offset of your wheel. Changing to a different wheel size shouldn't affect your gas mileage too much. What usually affects it is the additional weight you add on the larger you go.

It depends on what kind of look you are going for.

well i want everything to fit good no rubbing. I don't want the wheels to stick i guess you can call it a tuck look even. but stagger. I keep look here in the forum and it seem everybody is going 19x8 in the fronts and 19x9.5 in the back and i love that look thats my goal there. i'm a little confuse with all this and of course new to some of this stuff. I'm more of take it to a shop and let them do it. but this time i want to do it myself. it's time to learn and get the knowledge of this. this is my second forum i have ever join i was on the mustang forum before. when i had a 93 cobra and learned alot about the cars . but tire sizes just confuse the hell out of me. lol! anyway little help from the experts in here would be great.

If you don't want to rub your best bet is 19x8.5 with 35 to 38 offset and 19x10 with 40 to 42 offset

+1. Or 9.5" rear with mid 30's offset. Standard tire sizes would be 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Then there is also the fat set-up to provide a bit more cushion, but it won't look as good. 245/30/19 and 275/35/19.
