First I mess up a new sway bar end link because I can't figure out how to get it back in and now my interior lights are messed up. I was changing everything inside to LED's and I had all of them done except the both driver side doors and the visors. I did the rear first and when I put the LED in it was on for a second then turned off. I put the filament bulb back in and it would not turn on. Same thing happened to the front door right aswell. THEN, I tried the driver side visor and the SAME THING HAPPENED except this time it took out the rest of the interior lights EXCEPT the passenger side lower doors. I checked the fuses I thought would be associated with this but none were blown. WTF? I thought these pulled less power? The A/C Climate works but the radio does not and the alarm will sound if I open the door and not start the car but then I cannot dissable it with the key fob (or enable it). Anyone have any ideas?
Perhaps you can try resetting the ECU? That's always a start.
I did that after I checked the fuses, I'm stumped. I can't figure out why just the lower door lights on the passenger side work and nothing else does. None of the fuses I pulled looked blown from what I could see. I'm going to have to drive to work tomorrow with no radio
Figured it out with some help. Both driver side loower door lights still don't work though, everything else came back on. Can the socket housing for the lights go back, like maybe short? Seems wierd that just they don't work and all the fuses are good. Maybe th LED's are bad...
i seem to have this problem too when i went to change the bulb, except my is sometimes on and sometimes off and comes on when u bang on it. seems like a bad connection... did you ever resolve yours?
yeah, listen for you legend you need to bend the piece that 'accepts' the bulb end. bend it so that it touches better and closer, the small metal prong that the end of the bulb touches. also, my electronics have just gone out before as well inexplicably including the radio....they always turn back on....no clue, just a quirk
Check the kick panel on the passenger side and there is a fuse that is 7.5 amps. It's called the ECU something I forgot but it's 7.5 amps. Check that fuse if it's burnt. If not, remove it and put it back in see if that works. GL.
GS4, if the fuse is burnt on how come it is on and off? u'd think it'd just stay off?
austin i'll try your suggestion but it is so crowded down there i can barely see anything let along try to bend anything... do i have to take apart the door panel to do this w/ ease?

I was doing the exact same thing as you, changing interior lighting to led's etc., and I now have the same problem.

What did you do to solve this?
which LED's are you'll using i did my whole car and i mean my whole car with V-LEDS and a few from warren thrown in here and there and i havent had one single issue except some werent bright enough for me so i reordered brighter ones
hell im working on my center console ones right now but again not likeing the brightness so im switching from the v-leds to try warrens ones. just waiting on them to get here
