What gear are you in at 30mph? If 5th, try going 30mph in 3rd and 4th gear. If it happens only at a specific RPM, I'm going to have to say its the AC compressor clutch. However, someone will have better expertise on this than me.
I got this problem today. At idle when waiting at a light, i can feel a vibration coming from the floorboard or while my foot is on the brake pedal. It only does it with the A/C on; not sure if it does it with the A/C off, but tried it twice and i really couldn't feel the car doing it with it off.
The car runs fine and cools fine; there are no issues with the way the car performs, for the exception of the vibration, which actually feels more like a thump (almost like someone's woofers reverberating from a car behind me).
I was hoping the OP could expand on his answer regarding the fan blades.
UPDATE:
I checked the system again with A/C ON and A/C OFF and it only does with A/C on. The problem goes away with the A/C OFF. When i place my hand on the plastic housing of each fan, i can feel more vibration coming from the fan on the passengers side than i do on the drivers side. With the car off, when i touch the fan and move it around on the passengers side, there is no movement. When i touch the fan on the drivers side and try to do the same thing by rocking it back/forth, there is movement as if it's loose. It's weird that the drivers side is loose, but the noise appears to be coming from the passengers side fan. What is the function of each fan (passenger/driver side)?

I'm going to bring this thread back from the dead. I noticed today when I was almost to work I had a vibration in the steering wheel and could hear a light hum coming from the engine bay. I turned off the A/C and the vibration went away. Anybody else experience this and know of a fix. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
check a/c clutch...check motor mounts...check passenger side fan for movement! all these things are expressed/stated in the above messages...atleast u did actually search though and not just post a new thread. i tip my hat to you sir

welcome to the club
I've been on a lot of car forums so I know to search before posting up. I didn't find anything definitive in this post so went ahead and decided to ask if anyone knew what exactly the problem is.
I just checked it out and it seems to be coming from the passenger side fan. I didn't find any movement when the fan was off but I'm thinking the bearings might be going out. If I tap the fan shroud when the fan is on, it causes the vibration.
I'm going to see about replacing the fan. It looks like the whole fan assembly, including the radiator fan, is one piece. This might be a semi-expensive piece. I'll post up if this solves the problem so its documented.
