Surface Rust

Any of you guys have surface rust on the rear hubs?
Between the rims and the discs where the rim attaches to the axle.

Yes

Most hubs will start to rust eventually. I think the TRD setup from Steve uses a Cadmiuim coating to prevent the rust. Others have "cleaned up" by painting silver or black and also dressing up the calipers by painting and using the Lexus Caliper Stickers (search other threads for this) to put the Lexus name on the calipers. I have not done mine yet, but plan to this winter.

FD, as Johnny said, this is a normal phenomenon. Very visible on Lexus for some reason. No cause for concern but looks yuck.

I have a solution for this I'm working on.

I got the brembo brake kit on order for my GS400.

I think no more rust once those babes get put on!
