Default Painted Brake Calipers

Any of you guys have any ideas of how to paint the brake caliper and what type of paint to use?..I want to have mine done but with Lexus imprint on it.I have seen some really cool stuffs on some of our members here. I figure since I am waiting for my wheels to be made. I want to get started on little minors stuffs first.

most members just use caliper paint at your local autozone store or kregans. the lexus letters is just a sticker, but i heard painting your calipers, your paint you painted on there will crack off due to the heat from the breaks and the moister of the weather.

As long as the caliper is properly cleaned and decreased prior to painting, and the proper type of paint is used, it will not crack or flake off. Most of the caliper and high heat paints are chemical resistant too.The Lexus on them is generally a decal.

who tells you'll this stuff? yeah if u use some house paint im sure it will crack but ne1 painting their calipers normally uses a HIGH TEMP paint brand. MOST of us, i think use the G2 paint, get it off ebay. its a brush on.....i myself have it. let me dig up my post on my calipers......
