Default caliper paint and decals

For those of you have painted your brake calipers and/or applied decals to them, I'd like to know how it turned out.

Has the paint and calipers held up well, etc?

I did this months ago (Feb I think) I cleaned up my calipers (I may have painted them black but I can't remember-it was months ago) and applied silver decals then clear coated about 5 times.

No issues at all, still look perfect like I installed yesterday......however, the right way to do this is-
1.clean up the calipers.
2.paint the calipers completely silver
3. apply the decals
4. paint the calipers completely black
5. carefully remove the decals, this will reveal the "LEXUS" in silver.
6. clearcoat a couple of times.

1. Clean up caliper
2. Stick on decal

Looks great no pealing or discoloration. Stickers have been on for about 5 months. Even went to the track with them (brake's got really hot). I did get the TSB done on the brakes about a month ago. What a difference, way less brake dust.
I got my stickers from someone on this forum for about 12 bucks.

I just finished my calipers today. Painted them black and put a heat resistant chrome lexus sticker. And i'm clear coating it tomorrow. It actually looks very sharp

Did you use heat resistant paint or the special caliper paint?

Where did you get the stickers?

Those look really good man! Wish I had the 350 brakes... they look so much better painted and with the sticker!

Has anyone done this for an IS250? If so, can you post pics?
