Odd request, but...does anyone have a pic of the top shock plates on a 2ng gen GS. Looking for a bird's eye view of the shocks when not installed. Preferably coilover pics.
Actually, those parts are for a second gen GS (they better be).
Well, i haven't been here all that long, but i thought the JZS147 was the first gen 93-97 and the JZS160 and 161 was the second gen 98+, then the newest models that are you now.
Please correct me if i'm wrong......again, I am new to the LEXUS thing.

Where are you getting those numbers from? Did you see them in the pictures in the thread I posted?
...was the picture of a 1st gen JZS147. I used that pic only to represent the TYPE of pic i was looking for. At least the thread where i took that pic from indicated they were 1st gen.
If that's for the front, then i just need to find out what the bolt pattern in the rear looks like. I know it sounds weird, but it's a long story behind it.

Sorry for the confusion,

So, for the last 30 minutes, I have been cross-checking the part numbers on the boxes with the part numbers on the lexus-parts.com web site. You really had me going there for a while. Here's the weird thing -- the part numbers on the boxes don't exactly match the actual part numbers on the parts themselves. For example, for the front shocks, the boxes say 48510-80236, but the actual shock is marked 48510-30700. With respect to the rear shocks, the boxes are marked 48530-80239 and the shocks are marked 48530-30640. Makes no sense.
Anyway, back to your question, the strut caps are for the front. I don't have the strut caps for the rear. So, after all of that, I guess I was of no help to you.
