Question

1) where can I get the gauge pod holder like the one on Swiftracing car? cost? is it just generic gauge holder or is it made for toyota/lexus?

2) How can you tell if you have authentic L-tune steering ECU? part number ?

Thanks.

That might be a maxima guage pod holder? Cuase i think someone else before has installed a maxima guage pod holder.

To answer your second question, if you didn't buy the l-tuned steering ECU aftermarket or told the dealership to install it, than you don't have it. All GS's come stock with the US Steering ECU, the l-tuned version is the European Version, unless you got yours from Europe, than it's most likey the stock steering ecu.

The pods on SRT's car are probably just individual holders.

I saw one with a full covered pod pillar and I heard it was from a maxima. I believe it was Nimesh's car (CSR). What year maxima? I will probably need one of those in the future.

This is Nimesh's car.

GlobalClk,
tight pic,
I owned a sup' up max also, i used to be on maxima.org alot. time to check back to see where that get that.

about the L-tune ECU, i got a used 99 GS, the car come with all the aftermarket you can think of,(bodykit, rims, exhauset, intake, you name it.., except for supercharged, hee hee) but the dealer who sold it does not know what is on it. He got the car from an auto auction.

so i was just wonder if there is a way to tell (part different or something) for the steering ECU, so we don't order something i already have .

Thanks

Thanks for taking the image I took from my web site without asking. That's my silver GS in the background.

Anyway, I don't think they're a Nissan guage pod, I believe it's an aftermarket one... can't remember the brand.

Banana,

If your GS is black/black with RH rims, RMM intake/rear end and Greddy PE, then it does not have the L-Tuned ECU.
The 2ECU's look exactly the same even the part # are the same. The only way to tell the difference is to drive it.
