There is a picture of them on the gs in this thread. They are my favorite headlights for the gs.

The SD headlights only came on the SD edition GS300, so it was not on all the 01-05 GS. In fact, I only recall the SD edition being available on 02-03. (I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. ) There were also two sets of SD headlights, The 02s had black chrome while the 03s had the Titanium.

You can also take the headlight apart and DIY - 10$ vs $1000 hmmmmm. Priceless.
Custom, and never the same. It can look like this.

On the black GS that was just posted I think that is too dark but looks ok on the black GS, a lighter color I think that will be too dark. Painting the inside of the housing doesnt have any affect on the output of the headlight does it?

A little but it won't really be noticeable, unless you also paint the reflector bowl.

Here's a TRUE black chrome job that I had custom done to my stock headlights. The main difference between this and black paint is that it reflects just like chrome, and it has a dark tint to it. This is the closest you can get to the SD headlights without paying for the real thing.

Less then $200 if you take apart the headlights yourself.

Here's just the pieces that I sent in to get black chromed, including the trunk piece. I actually had a choice as to how dark I wanted it.

I don't think this will look right on the GS. Then again, someone is welcomed to try and convince me otherwise.

on a projector hid setup car it might be better. keep in mind, you don't paint the rear reflectors

I also dont think painting the headlights body color will look good on a gs. I would like to see pics and be convinced otherwise though.
