2 12" W6v2 and MBQuart 5.25 all around.
By the way I have two brand new in the Box 12" W7 if anyone wanna buy it.

 

That is border line not being able to push that stuff. The 2 12's are like 300 wats rms or more, but if you aren't trying to boom it should be fine, 1000/1 would have been great. but that is a pretty good setup there though. 6 1/2 didn't fit in the doors?

 

I have a 1000/1 brand new for sale if you really want to throw some power to those subs

 

stock speakers are 4" so i thought i can't fit 6.5 so yea i got 5.25 still sound good. I know 1000/1 have mad power but 500/1 good enuff for W6. I will get 1000/1 if i change my mind to keep the W7.

 

Did you do the stereo install yourself? Did you keep the stock head unit? Would love to ask you some more questions about the specifics of this upgrade. What part of Cali are you located?

 

I think it all depends on how loud you define boom to be.

Going from 500w to 1000w is only a 3db gain in overall volume.

I suspect he will easily hit 120 db as is, so increasing to 123db for the cost of a 1000 watt amp is not like a world of difference for the money spent.

GS-Ltune, you can always put the 5 1/4's in the rear doors and bump the front up to 6 1/2. Your high end will keep up with those 12's better when you push it.

 

That is just like what I plan on installing. I don't want the loud "I can hear you 2 blocks away" boom. I just want a nice clean install.

Got some good equipment there, should sound real nice.
Defenitley bump the fronts up to a 6.5" screen man it will be much much better.

 

thanks for all the good compliment and yes i did everything myself. If any of you have question wanna ask me feel free to ask. Also if whoever want to do 6.5" for their car yes you can do it and it will sound much better than mine. If i can go back i will do 6.5" which is something i will do next. About 6.5 screen i don't like it because none of the new Dvd out there can give you good power like the one i have rite now (CD8053) I was gonna get the new ANV5434 but not that great. I will post some pix up when I'm should be done by friday for HIN in SAn Mateo. I work at Goodguys so if any of you want audio stuff for good deal let me know ill check see wat can i do for you guys.
