Default Ok here goes JL or Fi subs?????

Ok so I want to see what everyone thinks.

Should I go with 2 JL w7 10's and two JL 500/1 in two seperate boxes that won't really work for me so I have to junk them and go custom.

or

Shoud I get 2 brand new Fi ssd 12's in a custom ported thru back deck box with a Kicker 1500.1.

Now the JL setup will end up being more especially since I want that box to be ported thru rear deck as well.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for your help.

for 2 10" W7 you should really look into the 1000/1 or their new HD amp the HD750/1 I think is what it's called.

I'm running a 500/1 with 1 10W7 and i love it personally

Go over the the Fi forum at Soundsolutions Audio and post what your goals are. Scott or one of his crew will give you suggestions and not try to oversell you. The best thing about Fi subs is that you can get them customized. Fi doesn't keep many in inventory so most are built as they are ordered.

I've spoken to Scott (Fi's owner) when I got for custom built recone kits for my home theater IB sub. He asked my goals (extremely deep bass for action movies) and what amp I was going to use (a 2,400w pro amp). Two weeks later, I get two boxes containing all of the parts for my four custom 18" subs. You can't beat that kind of service.

you can have a bandpass box or you will have the port facing the rear deck and they either use metal or something. let all the air from the port go directly through the rear deck. somethin like that.

Subs facing each other with the port in the middle firing up thru the stock sub hole.

Almost correct. Fi is the internet brand and Ascendant Audio is sold through brick and motar reatailers. The AA subs are just the fully loaded versions of Fi with a different dust cap. Scott Atwell owns both names. Scott has always built AA subs even when that name was owned by Chad Kuypers who is now running a home theater sub company called Epik Subwoofers. Scott supplies Epik with drivers for the home theater subs as well.

Robert thanks for the info, but now I'm a bit confused. If AA is the fully loaded version this would mean to me that they are a bit better than FI. Correct? If so I could get those for cheaper than Fi's. LMK what you huys think.
