If your talking about the built in system, I noticed that if the trunk is not fully closed or any of the doors not fully closed the auto off lights will not work.

i had my trunk open for 3 days now..
the wieght of my tvs and stuff made the light not come on and thatnk GOD the trunk not to open on the interstate... i ve been doing 8-0 for 3 days going to school and it hasnt given me a probkem.. LOL
