trunk emergency help needed

Default trunk emergency help needed

my friends locked their original key inside the trunk of their 98 gs only having their valet key left, is there any way to open the trunk without the key, i am sure there must be aways any ideas, its an emergency cause everything is in the trunk, this happened after a club so u can imagine what is inside that trunk, books, keys, phones, u name it, its in there. any help will do thanks

open the door

and next to the gas door opner


use the trunk opener

i didnt know what you meant at first

i dont know

just tried both of my keys(valet and reg)

hopefully some one can help

i know you can take the rear seats out

The wallet key will open the trunk if you have that available.

ok guys thanks for all the replies, now if anybody ever has this problem, i know how u can get it to open, all you have to do is take the panel out underneath where u open your hood and give the fuse some power and it opens, the beauty of having a power trunk

Sorry, how do you give the fuse power? Does that mean you turn on the car and then it opens?

all you have to get is a power wire from the ign.or 12v. and just give it a litlle tap. and ABRACADABRA and if is a Neg. trigger you use a ground source.

Which panel are you referring to? The fuse box inside the car or under the hood in the engine bay? And where is the fuse?

You've prob. resolved this issue by now but if you have the VIN available bring it to the dealer and have them program you a temp keu or break the window ha sorry for the retarded comment I am just tired.
