I've noticed that when I open the trunk from inside the car, the trunk lid opens and raises up. When I open the trunk using the key fob, it only unlocks the trunk, but doesn't raise the lid. Anybody else notice this and think it's odd or is it just my car? Or can this be changed so the trunk lid raises when using the key fob. I didn't see this covered in the manual.

That is weird, mine opens and raises with the key fob and from the switch inside the car.

Your seal is sticking. Wipe the seal with a wet rag and try it again.

I will be surprised if it does not open with fob operation.

Mine only opens all the way up 50% of the time....I'll try wiping the seal like mentioned to see if that changes anything.

theres a program at the lexus dealer whare they will give you a free ecm or ecu and you pay for the keys and labor,

I hope our trunk functions the same as the GS. I don't know why Lexus opted to spring type mechanism instead of electronic.
for the price we paid it should come with it.

Whenever I touch my key, it pops the trunk open without pushing the trunk button. My other key works fine so I know it’s just one of my key fobs that’s malfunctioning question is do I replace the key fob or can I fix the key fob?
