I had my torque Converter installed this week on my gs400 and though it will chirp the wheels with the VSC turned off I am still unable to do a burnout. (I Love GS4) do you have any other mods other than the TC?
By the way I have the factory 16” wheels and TC is my first mod

400 install for the trd lsd?! man that's extremely low price for the job i would say, considering how much has to be done to make sure it's a good install

can't do burn out?! that's weird. maybe you step on the brakes too hard and it actually stops the rear wheels?

That's about right but on the low side. I paid $480 for my TRD LSD installation 3 years ago. I have no problem whatsoever for the last 3 years.

I want a TC but I have a 430 and I heard it brings up the check engine light. Any way to fix this besides tape over engine light or taking out the bulb . You know to actually fix it.

You should not need to hold the brake at all to chirp the wheels. Maybe we're debating the definition of 'burnout'. While I can't say I've REALLY tried, I haven't laid rubber 50 feet down the road if that's what mrjones wants to do. Although remember we did see that in that gavin video.

The check engine light is reported to come on in 400 and 430s but it has more to do with the install than anything else from what I understand. I dont have a light on my 400

well it's a good idea if you want to get more power. the gain imho won't be as dramatic as that for the v8

oh to chirp the tires of course you dont need brakes. just punch it and i am sure you are there already. but i thought burnout it means your car is standing still and the rear tires just keep on spinning and spining to create all the smoke (but i agree with you, the definition is vague). if that's the case, you need to push on the brakes hard enough to stop the front from moving, but loose enough to let the rear spin

well from what i heard some 400 people have the cel but most people that i know of don't have that problem. 430 on the other hand all of them have the cel problem. i think someone talked to pi and it has to do with sensors or so on the 430
