But here is some additional information. I have the 2800 rpm unit. It really only shifts hard under heavy throttle, WOT or close to it. Under normal drivig conditions, well normal for someone anyway, there is no difference in shifting that I can recall.

the gs4 i drove with tc, i didn't feel the shifting being harder at all. it's NA

I think the shifting is SMOOTHER with the upgraded TC, so maybe morris' situation is different with the supercharger and over 200K on his car!

Hameed - have I let you down? Trust me, you're gonna LOVE the upgrade. The only thing you're gonna have to be careful of is not launching too fast.

totally agree, hameed, just do it

and regarding shifting, when i drove the car i noticed that when it shifts, the rpm doesn't drop too much, probably that makes the shifting smoother too

Also, that harsh 2-3 shift when the car's cold that people complain about becomes much less noticable, especially with the Supra 3.76 gears as well.

oh now that i have to go back and pay more attention. if that's the case (harsh shift on cold) then i would cry to have these stuff in my car
