The RED Thread
Washed my car.... and since I had not posted any pics after the L-Tuned Shock/Spring install I thought I would post these up... Only 1 coat of Zaino thus far... but more to come!
I like the drop and it is not so low that my wife will F up the car when parking...

HotBlue,
The ride is still very nice but is a little bumpy compared to factory. In combination with the front STB and steering ECU it feels like a completely different car but not as aggressive as others on the forums with serious suspension mods as the Teins. My father-in-law drove it before and after mods and says he can't believe the difference. The luxury car float is gone and steering is more solid for sure. He has a 540i and agrees that the car feels closer to the BMW now in terms of handling and confidence.
The L-Tuned Exhaust is sweet and is probably one of the most noticable sounding in volume and the frequency it is heard. If I am in the mood to hear it I turn down the NAK, if not I turn up the NAK. The wife loves it and the baby sleeps through it so it must not be that bad but I would say it is louder than it is quiet.
b1gred,
Yes, Zaino RULES! I have not had 1 person see my car and not think it isn't brand new.
jonathan,
Now that's what I am talking about, keep the RED thread alive people!

yeh i am fighting between gettin the l-tuned exhaust or the borla.. tough call. my summer mods are gonna be exhaust T/C TQ's and LSD.. and TRD STB.. as for the rest of the suspension, its gonna have to wait till winter.. .. tein's and a bunch o' tom's parts..
I don't have an issue with the cars performance (right now) and it is more than fast enough for me but I wanted a sportier feel 4 sure so I went the suspension route 1st. With a 0-60 under 6.0 I find myself braking the law frequently and quickly so I can't imagine dropping the cash on the TQ or TC until my child is older and I have the time to frequent the track now and again... but by that time if I still own the GS4 I will be looking at FI...
Go with the Borla if you think hearing the exhaust 90% of the time you are driving will be to annoying... I don't drive mine everyday so I enjoy the sportier sound when I do get behind the wheel.
