Glove box rattle FIX!!
For those who pm'ed me about the infamous rattle, I submit the long awaited pictoral diy resolution! Based on my limited knowledge I'll be posting one pic per post, each one being a step. The whole process is easier than it looks. I had two types of felt both came in large sheets from 3M. My local Lexus repair shop just gave them to me. One sheet is thick (1/16'-1/8"), the other much thinner, almost like fuzzy tape, both black.
Other than the felt stated above, the tools needed are: Philips screw driver(cordless makes it go MUCH faster), 10mm nut driver/ratchet, and maybe some needlenose pliers.
For anyone else that's done this please feel free to contribute your opinion!!
Start by disassembling the glove box. Remove black kick panel. I just pryed it loose with my fingers.

Now you should be able to remove glove box and box door as one assembly. I took mine to kitchen table for further work. Now we want to separate the "box" from the "door". First detach hinge arm from door. This will take a bit of effort once the 10mm bolt/screw is out. Mine popped off from both ends.
While I was at it I felted the door at the back of the back that allows access to the a/c filter. Tape felt was used on end nipples and bottom when it sat in back of box.

Don't want sloppy work showing where peeps can see. So attention to detail is needed when placing felt, or you could use a knife to trim. I don't like the idea of accidentally cutting into door or plastic so I had to reset this piece after the fact.
