Default Amp Integration

Hello,

I was just wondering if anybody can verify that the Metra Amp Intregration Harness (#70-8113) works with the first gen GS300. I am looking into changing my head unit, and dont want to re-wire the speakers and lose the Sub.

Thanks in advance for any insight in this matter.

sorry to be the 1 to tell you but, as my experience it did not work on my nak amp... so i ended up having to get a new amp, and run new wires....

if you go to the audio section in the faq thread, there is a first gen member on here who repinned the harness to work. if not you can just hardwire it like how i did mine and it works

the easiest thing to do, if you already havea deck, is just get a cheap sub box and sub,( i got my sub for 100 bucks, and box for 40 bucks brand new off a buddy) and then run a power wire to the rear trunk for the amp.

then you take 4 runs of speaker wire (front left, and right, rear left and right) and run them from the deck to the rear in the trunk. then you find the right colored wires, and cut the stock harness's going into the amp, then just splice the right speaker+ and - into the colored stock wires. then your speakers will be running off the deck, which is MORE than enough to power the stock speakers, and then you'll havea sub that'll be louder, with more boom than the stock one

i did the sub, amp, box, wire and dash kit for a JDM aristo(straight from japan) for 300 bucks, and it pounds
