I have a black 2000 GS400, currently with no rear license plate frame. I'm looking for something subtle, probably that does not say "LEXUS" on it. Maybe just a silver, black chrome, or glossy black frame. I found a couple that are OK online, but I don't need to be paying $50 for a frame. I just need one.

Dude....go to Walmart....its like $10 there.

If not, try Autozone, Pepboyz, etc...

 

I've been to auto supply stores and they just seem to carry plastic plates that have a sprayed-on finish. I'm looking for a decent quality metal one if possible. I'm just seeing if any CL members had something that looks good.

 

actually in my opinion if you want to get something subtle and decent you might need to pay upwards to that amount.. i've seen ones starting @ like $35+.

Also, do you really want to put something cheap on your GS?

 

Sigh... I wasn't looking for something "cheap"; I didn't want something overpriced. I also didn't need something brand new from a store. (i.e. I was looking for someone who just sold their Lexus but kept the plate frames) Most stores also tend to sell in pairs, while I need only one.

I don't think this thread will find what I was looking for anymore.

I have one that you may be interested in. It's used but in great condition. Chrome, no lettering, and might also still have the chrome screw covers. Will post a pic tonight and let you know.
