The whole fuel issue is as controversial as the 1j **** 2j street racing subject that shows up on here often, but let this be clear I as well as several others watched this dyno unfold from start to finish and the only problems ever associated with fuel was trimming the maps to reduce the fuel at some point the tuner was trimming 25+% of the fuel out of the stock factory rail, lines and intank pump at numerous points in the rpm range!!!!
I Think several of the sc boys are going to be very surprised if they try to go deep on Mr. LRD/ as all his # were produced in 3 gear, and to anybody who has dynoed before would know that this is not a 1.1 ratio like 4 gear!!
Mr. LRD/s speedo was wrapped with 1200 more to go in 4th gear so beware of 45+ mph 4th gear pulls with LRD/

At this power level the walbro will suffice..... Don't really know why the debate.
His fuel pressure did not dive, he still has plenty of fuel to spare and for what the car can do, it is tune very safe. So I am not sure why the debate.
In fact, timing was adjusted up top to ensure safety.
So what it comes down to is this, if he blows up then all the above mentioned assumption will be confirmed, if he does not then we will be liking our wounds. And yes this included Mr.Wicked.

I think what ed was getting at was why risk it? John has one of the nicest sc300s around and it would suck if it got damaged from a lean condition. There is nothing wrong with an overbuilt fuel system. Better to have the head room than run right on the edge. I know of Doc and he definitely knows his stuff, but each there own.

There are many unanswered question in this world .One being which came first the chicken or the egg..?? Why are there some 1 and 2 j's out there making power in the 6's with one pump. And lastly why did my set up do what it did ??..I'm afraid the only question I could attempt to answer is the one concerning me .Basally guys I watch Doc tune my car for 3.5 hours and saw how he had to keep trimming down the fuel in every pull..I can say with confidences that there was plenty of fuel to go around..But ultimately I have to believe in what I saw with my own eyes. And of course faith in my tuner .Which has been tuning this car for the last 2 1/2 years.
Guys all I'll ask is please stop blowing up my engine for me..

I can't hold it in anymore.OKAY I really made 556 at 24 lbs and I still have a chit load of pump fuel guys (93).Just ask Dinh and Roger who were behind me tonight..LOL
