Tesla Cybertruck
I read the instructions from Ford myself. Don't tell me I don't know. If it were legit, legit police agencies would be taking EVs seriously. Since you don't believe it I won't ask again why they do it.
When the THP or CPD makes the switch, let's talk. Hell even a city my size.

But you don't know. You've proved that time and again in this very thread. You demonstrably have no idea about electrical consumption, and when someone who does corrects you, then you just respond with more unformed snark. You demonstrably had no idea about the context of Ford's recommendations. And now only some cities etc are legit. I wonder what criteria might define those ones?
Back on topic, we just passed three Cybertrucks which had clearly been off roading heading along the Pacheco Pass and then on to 101 North (no doubt heading to Fremont). I have to say they look awesome in person.

It's the CT that's a unibody.
I like the CT, it's just a joke to think cops and government, utility companies will be using them!
I read it myself!!! "Don't use the heat, rely on seat and steering wheel heaters." I'm paraphrasing but yeah. You're looking through your rose colored glasses.
No, I'm not happy because it's a virtue signal and they're only replacing 100 cars.... nice try. In any case New York is the densest city in America so jetting through Manhattan wouldn't be a challenge for an EV provided they kept their charge up. What highway patrol agencies want to go full EV?

That's some serious copium to think the only reason EVs are being put into fleets is to virtue signal. I'm looking forward to seeing all the decked out Cybertrucks used by police it's the perfect fit toughest truck ever made.
I'm sure these good 'ol boys from Alton Texas PD are virtue signaling Lol
