Slightly more expensive than the Ioniq 5? Interesting. The GT-Line AWD at $57K likely means the GT will be $60K+, which is Model Y Performance money. Really thought the Ioniq 5 and EV6 would start at least $5K less to be the value players in the segment. Looks like the ID.4 is actually the best value in this segment.

While I'm talking about the Mach E in an EV6 thread, Alex and Sofyan did a comparison review between the non-GT models:
Pretty much the only thing the Mach E does better is having more storage space and sitting up higher, if you want a CUV. What's interesting is that the EV6 has more ground clearance than the Mach E despite being a much lower car.

I still think the ID.4 is the value player in this small segment so far. And with the US built ones coming out later, it might even be cheaper than it is right now. You get similar performance and range for slightly less money. This is of course ignoring the base trims of the Ioniq 5/EV 6, which look more comparable to those FWD BZ4X/Solterras. Hopefully, those are priced less than $40K, but I doubt it.
I do hear bad things about the infotainment of the ID.4 and Ioniq5/EV6 certainly look prettier too both inside and outside. Have not had a chance to actually to feel them in person. I also would consider the Ioniq 5/EV6 over the ID.4 myself just to be transparent.
Anyways, was hoping the EV6 GT would be priced much lower than the Model Y Performance. Would make a good DD for me.

Unfortunately, the top trims are the most popular and have the least inventory. I can get the lower trim SE model but that thing is lacking in amenities so will wait until the fully spec Limited model is available.

Still no concrete release date and price on the EV6 GT yet. Looking more likely as a 2023 model year now.
Model Y Performance at $68K or Kia EV6 GT at ~$62K+? Honestly tough to pick either of them.
