I doubt very much that's all it takes....lol
Leaders unilaterally for every single type of car period. The same place they have held essentially forever, they will take a second to be the best for the EV segment but once they figure it out no one will want a tesla when you can have an S-class unless as usual they just can't afford the best

When the Germans can sell 400k plus EV'S per quarter, we'll talk. The Germans first need to stop shedding sales to Tesla, I think they call that conquest sales lol 🤣

The German brands are showing that they can be just as cowardly as the American OEM's when it comes to electrification. Pitiful.

Japanese brands still take the cake as the worst offenders by a country mile.

That's why the Germans, and everyone else will remain years behind Tesla. Tesla has already proven that there is demand for EV's, and they also proved they are profitable, but the road to profitability can be years. Besides the Chinese companies, Hyundai and Kia will most likely be Tesla's biggest competition in the near future.

On the luxury side, it looks like BMW and Mercedes are growing steadily, so that's some good news, but their sales numbers are nowhere near competitive when compared to Tesla

That's what I was wondering too.

Interesting.

People will probably still try to sue even if they caused the accident but maybe this will help in court somehow.

Not sure how all that works yet.

I remember watching a video about level 3 drive pilot on the S class and actually when the car is in Level 3 mode, the carmaker will be responsible and liable for the accident.
