Default VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) Light coming on at stop light

My wife reported to me that the “Vehicle Stability Control” light has came on a few times while sitting at a stop light. No noticeable driving issues. Car drives fine.
Wondering if anyone has experienced this?
Thanks in advance!

kinda surprised you haven't received a response yet. The first thing that comes to mind is the question, Is the brake pedal inadvertently being pushed further/harder the times it comes on? I noticed this same thing when we first got our CT, but really paid no mind to it. Then was sitting at a stop light and i did something that pushed the brake in further and it came on. thought it was weird, but again, nothing seemed out of line. Eventually traded in the CT for an Avalon and was looking up something in the manual and came across "hill start assist". Read up on it and if you press the brake harder for a few seconds at a stop light (preferably on a hill), the VSC will illuminate and the brakes will remain engaged after you take your foot off the brake for a few seconds so you don't temporarily roll. I'm betting that's what's happening for your wife.

This is exactly what was going on. I posted this question on another forum and someone replied that his girlfriend did the same thing.
I went out and confirmed that when I pressed the brake down as far as I could the VSC light did illuminate.
Thanks for the response!
