it's all relative. people where you are will say the same about your $750k spread. obviously it's about timing, financial success, inheritance if that's a factor, marrying well, lol, etc. i do know this. some of the dumbest people i've ever met are loaded, and some very smart people i know never had much.

Didn't end up being able to get to the Honda/Acura event. Wife and son woke up feeling pretty bad on Saturday and my joke about running out and coming back with lunch didn't go over well

91kw battery is nice... problem with minivans and EVs is that aero is bad and you get worse mileage out of the same pack as other vehicles.

I'm really rooting for Rivian. Hopefully they survive. One of the reasons I'm reluctant right now to get one is their lack of service centers, although they just opened one in San Jose which brings some hope

The subreddit was angry with how many showrooms/spaces they were opening instead of service centers. I get that it's a lot easier to hire essentially retail workers for the spaces, but it's a bad look when people have to drive 1+ hours to get to service. That said, their mobile service is pretty solid

Rumor mill is also suggesting that casting to the rear screen is in the works so the rear seat passengers can watch while the truck's in motion
