Got an update from my contact, said the status in their tracker changed so that means it should be near or completed production and should be ready for transit. As for an ETA, none provided other than "sometime this month" per their original estimate. So everything looks like it's going to plan.

My 2022 ES350 Ultra Luxury was built yesterday on Thursday, May 5th. It's now in the "Processing" stage. The general sales manager told me that my vehicle should be arriving at the dealership in the next 2 weeks by the 3rd week of May. I'm looking forward to getting my Ultra Luxury.

Hopefully it won't rust out by the time it arrives

I will do that. I needed a 2nd car, so I also purchased another 2nd vehicle. I was able to find one of the last allocated 2022 Toyota Avalon Limited model in Supersonic Red with the cognac interior. My Avalon Limited was delivered to the dealership yesterday morning.

I’m waiting for the dealer to get the registration and the plates for the Avalon and for them to also repair and repaint a small section underneath and at the very edge of the front right bumper where there’s some road rash/scrapes. The road rash/scrapes occurred when the vehicle was loaded/unloaded on/off the truck sometime during transport between Georgetown, Kentucky and the dealership. The Toyota dealership will get the body shop that they use to repair/repaint the small section underneath and also on the very edge of the bottom right hand section of the front bumper. I should be getting delivery of the Avalon after the body shop fixes it and after the dealership gets the plates and registration for the vehicle.

This thread was exploding this whole time? I wonder if I missed my window now.

Well. My dealership offered me a spot for a Ultra Luxury fully loaded black on black car that is allocated to them. I really did some heavy thinking and I turned it down.

As much as I don’t have an issue with black on black (it was obsidian with black semi-aniline interior with black open wood trim) I’m tired of it. I currently drive a black on black car and it is okay.

After watching YouTube videos of savage geese and other YouTube channels, exterior color blue mica and the interior color palomino really stood me out.

I hope I made the right decision and while I haven’t caught up this thread I hope people had success finding what they wanted.

I will patiently wait for the colors and configuration I want.

Not going to lie. I almost pulled the trigger on putting my security deposit down.

Also I hope this thread has helped the community so far. I’m surprised it exploded with so many responses.

You can give a deposit for the car and then have the dealership call the Lexus regional headquarters and have the Lexus rep there request a change in the color of the car to the exact color combination that you want. It’s still early to do this is your Lexus dealer just got the allocation. I was able to add 2 options to my Ultra Luxury model right when my dealer received the allocation and Lexus accepted the add ons. Do it now while it’s still early.

I didn’t know this. I called them early today and my salesperson was busy with another client. I haven’t heard this before so maybe I’ll hear something next week. I did not get a call today.
