From which region of the USA are you located?

AZFamLexus,
I also got an allocation from my Lexus dealer for a 2022 ES350 Ultra Luxury in early April on April 5th as well. Mine will be built in May and it should be delivered to my dealership sometime by late May to early June.

If you got an allocation for your Ultra Luxury ES350 in early April, your car should be built sometime in May and you should also be getting yours sometime by the end of May to early June like me. Not in July.

Well, I actually did better than just invoice pricing. I most likely got the best deal of anyone anywhere, especially on this model and trim. lol! All things considered of course.

You must have an awesome dealership. The 3 dealerships I've dealt with in person didn't even really give me the time of day, but I do look quite young still (if I shave people don't ask if I'm registered to vote hah). I had to go through a mutual friend to secure a pretty good deal that I'm getting next month.

Also, what type of paperwork did you sign on 3/1? I’m asking you about the paperwork because I haven’t been called in to do any paperwork for my Ultra Luxury yet. The only thing that I did was give the dealership a $1,000 deposit on March 12th when I put my name on the car to get the car and they gave me a receipt.

My car got allocated to the dealership on April 5th and during the next few days after April 5th the dealership got the northeastern US regional Lexus rep to add the rear spoiler and the smartaccess card key options to the build of my Ultra Luxury vehicle. But I didn’t have to sign any paperwork for that.

At what point in time did you have to sign paperwork for your car? Was it during the time after they built your car? Or was it when you got the allocation before they built your car? My vehicle already has its built date assigned to it now for next month in May. However, I haven’t been called in by the dealership to sign any paperwork yet. But the dealership has my name on the Ultra Luxury vehicle that’s allocated to them.
What I signed was just a worksheet that confirmed the details of the order, including the dealer installed sill and trunk lights, which specified the price of it all including an estimate of taxes and fees. In essence it was the agreed upon price the dealership and I would honor, subject to any add-ons I might want once the car was in and I met with the F&I manager (things like extended warranty, tire protection, etc.). Before. you ask, I didn't take any of those add ons and ended up paying exactly was on the worksheet.

well done. The more consumers dig their heels in the sooner the stealers will have no choice.

So excited. Visited my dealership today. I did not expect to receive my new ES350L until August. He showed me on the computer where my order has been accepted by Lexus and I should have my car by mid June. Cannot wait.

What is the build date for your ES350 Luxury? There should be a build date attached to your car if you saw it in the dealership’s allocation computer system.

It was just accepted today. He told me he would give me an update shortly as soon as the status changes. There were quite a few cars on the same chart in various stages.

My vspec page is no longer working. So...in production or close to ebing delivered? No, I didn't receive any updates from my contact.

I wonder why your v-spec link page is not working? Does it stop updating once the car is in production once it’s built? Maybe someone in here knows this and can tell us.

From my Lexus contact October 2021

Good Morning ****!

So I finally heard back from my rep with Lexus regarding your special order (I have included his email below – Your order is the bottom vehicle of the two). Essentially what he has said, as you will see, is that your special order has been officially accepted and is scheduled to be built in December. However, he cautioned me in how I present this information to you and the other guest who is waiting on a special order. He said that the situation is very fluid and could rapidly change as production was cut 40% for this month, 40% for November, and 10% so far for December.

That said, I will stay on top of those at Lexus that pull these strings and do my best to have the vehicle here ASAP. I will continue to keep you posted as more information becomes available!

Thank you, ****!

I may reach out to my contact if I have some time tomorrow, at least shoot a quick text message. But hopefully with my vspec page going down means that it's in production and it was assigned a new VIN (based on your previous post).
