Thank you. It wasn’t easy running around trying to find a good dealership that would work to get this particular vehicle for me. I got lots of BS and run around from a few Lexus dealerships because they were either clueless in what to do to get the allocation, uninterested in helping me or because they wanted to sell me just any allocation that was unsold that was coming into the dealership. These jabronis wasted my time from February 7 until I sprung loose from them and got my deposit back from them on March 14th.

Then on March 12th, I finally found another dealer that I went to that worked hard to get the Ultra Luxury allocation for me. They were very lucky to grab this particular Ultra Luxury allocation for me without any problem. All the other dealerships that I visited to try to get this particular vehicle were wasting my time and were jerking their weenies off. They never produced any results for me. They only talked BS.

I was very lucky to get my vehicle to be built with the exact exterior and interior color combination and with all the options that I wanted during this final and last ES350 Ultra Luxury production run that Lexus will be building for the 2022 model year. The next production run for the ES350 Ultra Luxury will be sometime in August or September for the next new 2023 model year.

I’m very very grateful that everything worked out well for the allocation and for the build that’s going to occur next month in May.

I visited one of the Lexus dealerships up in my area yesterday afternoon and the salesman told me that special orders have reopened up, but only for the ES350 and for the RX vehicles. He said that special ordering opened up for these 2 models about 2 weeks ago. Can someone in here confirm with me that this is true. I’m located in the northeastern USA geographic region.

 

Yes, that is absolutely true. My special order goes to Lexus today. All orders must go in today, the 19th.

 

To anyone on this forum…when your special order was placed by your dealer, did they provide you a copy of your exact order that went to Lexus?

 

yes, this is what I got, with the top car being mine. The car on the bottom was another customer’s car. As you can see, exterior and interior colors are denoted by their color codes, and packages are denoted by their 2 digit codes. In my case, they were all put under the “required” field as I would not accept the car without it. Also, I ordered two port installed options which were denoted by their two codes as well and put under the PPO section. I left with this along with final pricing and a paper that stated what each two digit code meant so that there could be no disputes later.

 

I had requested a special order and will check in on this when I am contacted about my allocated vehicle. Just don't feel the need to bug them for now. If it's been ordered and they give me a reasonable timeline, then I'll hold off on the allocated vehicle. I'll definitely report back though! Assuming I don't buy the allocated vehicle....haha

 

Yes. I’ve posted it and other documents multiple times over several threads. I even have it outlined by the ordering GM why it was a special order.

At this time, there is still no special ordering. Lexus is still having a very hard time fulfilling it’s previous obligations and they do not see that changing until possibly 2023, though I’m not sure it will take that long.
