Nicely done. Were they not able to match the original color or was that just your choice?

Overall choice because wearability and maybe color matching too.

Do you have pictures of the old thin material removed? Just curious about how delamination of the material looks.

Great job and definitely better option than replacing the door panel at over $1.5k. Thanks for the update!

I was referring to the material taken out of the door to get a clearer view of its thickness and what lies beneath the latex glove laminate. That said, I really prefer the new color contrast!

I see this was resolved nicely. But I was going to mention that I have taken off the armrest piece and folded back the fabric to wedge in some foam towards the rear (my elbow), so there's no hard surface bothering me. I was going to suggest a similar tactic to stretch out the wrinkles a bit.

You removed the armrest from the door or the center console? I thought the armrest on the door was not removable separately?

Both. Been awhile but it required a lot of screws
...

And first step is to take off the door trim obviously, but that's really easy since I had to do it like 4x already (soft close door, ambient light, welcome light, sound dampening)

Nice job on door panels. You have a custom one off!
