Leather Issue
That makes sense. I’ll need to be more careful when using the drive-through when raining, though I do keep a black microfiber cleaning cloth in the center console storage and always wipe dry.
This may, or may not help; previous comments caused me to do a bit of a search on NuLeather and this is what I found. (Inquiring minds want to know)
“NuLeather™ is a high performance faux leather with a luxuriously soft hand – nothing comes closer to real leather, and yet delivers the strength and durability required for the most demanding environments. NuLeather is engineered with the highest quality polycarbonate resins, the best available in the market today. NuLeather’s superior formulation provides for outstanding hydrolysis resistance, and its rayon-polyester backing provides unsurpassed strength. NuLeather is antibacterial, mildew resistant and has exceptional stain resistance and cleanability - thanks to Sta-Kleen®, the industry’s first and best dry erase formula.
One of the greatest benefits of NuLeather is that it is environmentally responsible. The fabric does not contain polyvinyl chloride (PVC), plasticizers, phthalates, heavy metals or stabilizers making it 100% VOC free. There are no chemical flame retardants. There are no toxic by-products. NuLeather is RoHS and REACH compliant. Nearly 99% of the chemicals used to make the fabric are recycled by the mill.
The fabric is a leather alternative that sets new standards for aesthetics, performance, convenience and luxury. It has the soft hand, pliant drape and realistic graining of real leather. Designed to last the life of the furniture, this beautiful fabric tailors easily, and cleans effortlessly. NuLeather is beautiful enough for hospitality, contract and residential settings, and tough enough for the most demanding healthcare applications.”
This is apparently the developers of the product: perhaps ask them how to fix the wrinkles.

Yes, the only caveat being that when they say “seats” they mean seating surfaces - the tops/back where you actually sit, not the sides, back of the seat facing the rear, etc.
Here is the US, there's NO real leather in an FSport - it's all Nuluxe other than perhaps the steering wheel.

Nice diagram that explains it. My only complaint on this is that if it's a daily touch item put leather on it. Some couches come with leather on main surfaces and vegan leather on sides and back. It's a luxury model car and price tag shows it. We plan to take this car to the 200+ club
It is nice but not sure how correct it is
I have a suspicion that seat sides are not real leather as the seats are advertised as leather-accented trim in Australia at least..
I just ordered a woolmark certified detergent to mix it with distilled water to clean the interior.

Could you check with the shop whether the material, if as thin as a latex glove and delaminated, could be restored using a heat gun or a cloth iron? I'm curious if this method might help re-laminate the surface, in case I or others in the forum encounter this issue in the future.
