The A25A has a tenancy for fuel dilution. Some member on a RAV4 forum:
Not sure if it’s obvious to most people reading this photo but the warning at the bottom should also indicate fuel dilution will also shorten engine life.
In that case, I would switch to a 3K OCI. That's pretty strong dilution. I wonder if such dilution is inherent to the A25A design in general or due to hybrid operation (short trips/frequent starts and stops)
It has nothing to do with tech. Piston ring blow-by is very real and tech will never eliminate this on any ICE. BTW, did you ever look in your 2025 ES "Warranty And Service Guide"? It states the free service is at 5,000 miles. You can change your oil anytime you want to but to reduce long term engine wear you should change it every 5,000 miles for normal service. I know this to be true. I've owned many vehicles that have lasted over 300K miles. No need to change my regimen now.
My car is a 2020 ES300h and I looked in there and then downloaded the 2025 ES350 and I don't see anything mentioning changing at 5k outside of special operating conditions or doing so to reduce long term engine wear. Please tell what page you see this on so we will all know.

Do you have the Warranty And Service Guide? I didn't think that document was online. It's not in the owner's manual
It’s in pg 49. Dealer also indicated to me they are changing oil & filter at 5K.
Note that it is also for Severe Operating Conditions. There is not anything wrong in changing early and can only help especially in your situation of keeping cars a long time. As a ME you know that any device once turned on starts towards the end of its life and in a car increasing maintenance will prolong its ultimate demise.

Well then, you tell your dealer you have been driving the vehicle severely then. 10K is an excessive distance to travel without changing your oil. Yes, I know very well how to extend a vehicle’s ultimate demise.
Your dealer only wants to know that you want it changed at 5k intervals or any that you determine and they will be happy.
You wanna guess what I’ll be telling my service advisor? I need the free oil & filter change Mr Advisor. I’ve been to a few HPDE track events at Daytona and really pushed the car hard.

They are unlikely to give you the free one at 5K. I'm on my third Lexus and have tried that with every one.

Fuel dilution, that’s the main reason why I recommend 5000 mile OCIs.
Correct! My oil change freebies are at 10k, 20k, 30k & 40k. No freebie for me at 5k intervals, have to pay for any in between; which I don't mind.
In another forum, someone pointed out that the measured (Scangauge 3) oil temp on the A25A-FXS sit mostly at 160-165F; with sustained highway driving (1hr) at 70mph barely getting to 180F unless uphill when it hit 190F. That could definitely explains why the Owners Manual suggests 5k instead of 10k for "Special Operating Conditions" which includes short trips & idling. Still based on the UOA of the RAV4 Hybrid user, keeping a low fuel dilution <2.4% will require 3-4k which sits near the 5k OCI but definitely not the regular 10k OCI. Maybe a few Italian Tune-ups here and there will help drop the % when doing 5K.

Reason: Fix: Severe -> *Special* Operating Conditions
