Default Lane centering question '23 ES300h

Greetings, I'm 850 miles in (and lovin' it!) on our 2023 ES300h and I'm wondering about the lane centering and assist. It is MUCH more aggressive when the radar cruise control is activated than it is on its own.
Is this normal?
I adjusted the sensitivity on the LTA to max, but the difference when cruise is engaged is significant. When cruise is on it will navigate through a curve almost on its own. When it's LTA solo, just a gentle tug and vibration on the steering wheel.

Thanks to any and all who respond and as always, best regards,
Morey G.

When the radar cruise is off, you have LKA only. With the radar cruise ON, you have LTA.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware LKA wasn't as aggressive as the LTA function, I also had them mixed up I guess....Still getting used to it and haven't fully explored every feature in full. There's a bunch there.

Don’t tell this to anybody, but I discovered a trick. Put a bottle of water in the steering wheel hole (7 o’clock and it’ll drive by itself for days if not weeks LOL

Hanging a weight from one of the paddles shifters works well too. A Comma 3 works the best.

No, you didn't discover this trick at all. E46 did, just wait for him to come give himself 100% credit for inventing this trick!

World’s first and best! Anyone else who does this trick does so with inferior implementation.
