Default Maintenance Required: Visit your dealer

Every time I start my car I get the above message on the driver info center behind the steering wheel on my 2018 ES 350. I went into the main screen and deleted some maintenence info and its still there... How do I find out what this message is and how do I get rid of it.

There is a service and oil change reminder. Both can be reset. The messages will remind you again at 10,000 miles. Immediately when you start your car you will see a wrench icon those numbers are the countdown to the 10,000 mile reminder message.

There are two different reminder systems on my 2018 Es350. They don’t communicate with each other and each must be independently reset.
The first is the system on the dash that is controlled by the “mouse”.
The second system is controlled by the small controls on the side of the steering wheel. If you search on here, you can find detailed instructions but I just went to YouTube to find how to reset both.
I hope this helps.

The messages that show up behind the steering wheel are NOT controlled by the main screen. They are a separate system that uses the little controls on the steering wheel itself to manage. I don't have the procedure memorized. I went to YOUTUBE and found a video on how to change the maintenance reminders from the steering wheel location.

The video I watched was from someone called Snapfix and dated July 3, 2020. I hope I am not breaking any forum rules here by providing this information.

Turn ignition "ON" (but do not start engine)
Set the trip meter to "A"
Turn ignition "OFF".
Push and hold "ODO Trip" button in, turn ignition "ON" (but do not start engine)
Continue holding ODO Trip button in until Odometer displays "000000"
Turn ignition "OFF".

The search function is your friend.

Per https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...der-light.html Message #2.
