Hi all, recently my keyless entry isnt working. when i walk next to the car the lights come on but the door doesnt open. check the batteries in remote and its fine. any ideas?

 

I assume by "check the batteries" you actually tried replacing it otherwise I don't know how you would actually check it.

Do the door unlock when you hit the unlock button on the remote?

 

Yes ive replaced batteries. Yes doors unlock when button pressed.

 

If the doors unlock with button then I'm guess it's a problem with the sensor under the handle. Does is happen with all doors?

 

not sure about all doors as ive only tried on drivers side... will do so later on today.

 

I think i figured out whats happening.. when i get out the car and press the locked button twice(to turn off autolight) then the next time i go to the car the doors dont open automatically. when i do a single press on key and let lights turn off by itself. Then doors open on next visit.
